I’m Shanling, a fourth-year currently double majoring in Physiology and Health & Disease,
with a minor in the History and Philosophy of Science and Technology. Art used to be a
hobby I pushed to the side once I started university, but then I was introduced to the world
of science communication. Now, I’m able to apply my interest in science and art together
through science illustration.

I have been involved with the SCC since late 2019, and worked on multiple projects within
the club. I aspire to use both my scientific knowledge and artistic skills to convey science in
a visually intuitive way to the public.
