Hi! I’m a third-year Journalism student at UTSC.

I joined SCC because I’m fascinated by scientific and technological issues–especially when they border ethics and philosophy and cause the reader to reflect on the human experience and human nature as a whole. I think translating scientific issues to non-academics and people not familiar with the scientific field is one of the core responsibilities of science and investigative journalism both.

I love to doodle, read classics, science fiction, dystopian, historical fiction, and scientific non-fiction (not the textbook kind!), plus I like researching and writing on a broad range of topics for fun!
