Hi! I’m Trisha and I’m a 6^th year PhD student at U of T in the department of Cell and Systems Biology. My project is at the intersection of cell biology and immunology – I study the cells that leads to the production of antibodies that help fight off infection and protect us through vaccination.

My interest in science communication began during my undergraduate degree with my opportunities to volunteer with Let’s Talk Science doing classroom and event outreach, and Knowledge is Power as a blog writer. I was also a teaching assistant during my PhD in two courses where we designed assignments that promoted science communication and outreach.  This is my first year with SCC, and I’m really enjoying being able to contribute as a writer.
