Hey there! I’m an upper-year student in the Fundamental Genetics program under Human Biology, with minors in Immunology and English. I have research interests in sex-linked diseases, the genetics of aging, and stem cell technology. I joined SCC because I think communicating science (especially the newest advances) to the public is incredibly important to do. Science journalism is how we continue science education beyond the classroom and outside the workplace, so I’m excited to be a part of a club that shares these values with me. When I’m not editing SCC articles, I’m proofreading creative pieces for the UC Gargoyle or writing pieces for EmpowArt UofT. You can also catch me doing the daily Connections or playing D&D in my free time. 🙂
