Hello, I’m Amy! I’m a biomedical illustrator and communications designer with a passion for human-centred design. I enjoy creating visuals that foster an understanding and appreciation for science.

During my undergrad, I searched everywhere for a club that combined my love for art and science. When I found the SCC, I knew I had to join, first as an Illustrator in 2019, then as its President in 2019-2021, and now as its advisor. I graduated with a M.Sc. in Biomedical Communications from the U of T, and now work as a research associate in the Science Visualization Lab at UTM and a designer for the Public Health Agency of Canada.

In my free time, you can find me travelling, admiring my plants, or enjoying a mocha in downtown Toronto ☕️
