Hi, nice to meet you! I’m Alexandra, and I’m a Master student at U of T’s Institute of Medical Science. I’m studying the genetics of rare retinal ciliopathies, but if you look at my articles you’ll notice that my passion for science extends to a wide range of subjects, such as space, the human microbiome, and climate change!
As the SCC’s social media manager, I make sure that all our articles are in tip-top shape before publishing them across our various social media platforms. As a writer, I research and write articles on topics in STEM. I have been with the SCC since 2019, so this club holds a special place in my heart!
I like to keep myself busy with my hobbies, which include reviewing books, photography, and posting about fashion.
